I work as an IT support and for a good reason with the amount of clients walking in and out of our office during working ours is kind of frustrating and for this reason we decided to get a ticket system to reduce the disturbances we get during working hours. We chose to use Projeqtor because my manager find it very convenient and reliable and I should be in charge of the administration of this wonderful ticketing system you created. I have a couple of questions:-

1. how does a user send a ticket. i would be very happy and glad if i get a very detailed description on this since I am but a beginner.

2. is it possible to create two different ticket dashboards. We have two different issues to address at work and we think it would be super nice if it is possible to create multiple ticket dashboards to address different issues separately.

3.how do I set the mailing notification up so users, managers, supervisors etc get notified when a ticket is closed, in pending status etc.

As of today, there is no "email" entry.
So users should connect to projeqtor, and create new ticket.
For users who will only enter tickets, we have the "Ticket simple" screen, wich is simplified view on tickets.
It is easy for admin to configure profiles so that these users only see this screen.

Yes, easy : just create 2 projects.
Each requestor may be allocated to one only project, and support team to all.

Just configue The "Controls & Automation" > "Mails on Event"

user cannot "sent" a simple ticket, he creates it.
With admin user, define a specific profile (or you can for instance use Guest profile).
Configure access rights so that this profile only sees "ticket simple" screen, and can create tickets.
Then user will connect to project and create tickets through this screen.

I would also be very glad if you could walk me through the controls and automation window on the mail settings for notifications.

Go to the screen and hit F1 : you'll get the online User Manual.

A very big thank you for your efforts and help and I have moved a step forward with your enormous and great help. I have been able to create a couple of users and they login really fine.
My question now is how does a user(project guest) send a ticket when he only has access right to Tickets(simple) window.

Tivket simple is just a "simplified" view on tickets.
So tickets created through "Ticket Simple" screen are visible on "Ticket" screen.
