Hi,

I think it is always quite useful to store on Projects and Activities a "requested work" and "requested cost" amount. It allows us to keep track of the difference between for example what was requested by the technical teams, and what was validated by management or customer. So when performing a retrospective, we can always compare is the 'validated' was different than the 'requested', it helps to explain a lot of things ... ;-)

At least in my use cases, we use this in the same way as "requested start/end dates".

Do you think it could be useful for everyone to add "requested work" and "requested cost" in the "costs and work" section of Project and Activity details ?

I don't think it is necessary as requested should be the assigned = when team nedd to do it.
So validated by management or customer = validated work
Requested by team = assigned work

Unfortunately that is more often than not only the theory for us ... :(
But I certainly understand your point of view (and I personally entriely agree!)

(Also - sorry, I just now realize I entered a strange title !!)
