Bonjour,
J'ai 3 questions/suggestions qui me tiennent à cœur :
1) Concernant le calendrier :
Pourriez-vous, dans la mesure du possible, intégrer dans une version future un calendrier qui s'inspire de ce qui existe dans la solution open source "eGroupware" ou "fengoffice".
2) Concernant l'éditeur de texte des zones de description :
Le champ description, qui est présent dans plusieurs fonctions de l'outil Project'OrRia, est extrêmement important. Il permet de présenter une société, un projet, décrire une anomalie...etc.
Cependant l'éditeur de texte dispose de fonctions très limitées.
Pourriez-vous, dans la mesure du possible, intégrer dans une version future un éditeur de texte plus riche comportant des fonctions de base de mise en forme et d'insertion d'objet graphique (images).
Une approche possible serait de s'inspirer de l'éditeur de texte de l'outil open source "fengoffice".
3) Concernant le client de messagerie :
Pourriez-vous, dans la mesure du possible, intégrer dans une version future un client de messagerie qui s'inspire de ce qui existe dans la solution open source "eGroupware" :
Dans cet outil, on peut importer des mails directement dans l'outil.
On peut y répondre avec un éditeur de texte comportant les fonctions de base pour la mise en forme.
Très souvent dans les sociétés, il existe une boîte email générique pour le Helpdesk, la déclaration des incidents, des bugs, etc.
Ceci permettrait, par exemple, de récupérer automatiquement les mails et les convertir en ticket d'incident (en fonction d'un workflow spécifique et paramétrable qui peut être associé à ce type de canal).

Hello,
I have 3 questions / suggestions :
1) For the calendar:
Could you, if possible, include in a future release calendar which is based on what exists in the open source solution "eGroupware" or "fengoffice".
2) Regarding the text editor field for description:
The field description, which is present in several functions of the tool Project'OrRia is extremely important. It allows a company to present a project, describe an anomaly ... etc..
However the text editor has very limited functions.
Could you, as far as possible, integrate into a future version a rich text editor with more complexe formatting and possibly insertion of graphics object (images).
One approach would be to build on the text editor of the open source tool "fengoffice".
3) Regarding the mail client:
Could you, as far as possible, integrate into a future version an email client which is based on what exists in the open source solution "eGroupware"
In this tool, you can import emails directly into the tool.
We can respond with a text editor with basic features for formatting.
Very often in companies, there is a generic mailbox for the Helpdesk, the reporting of incidents, bugs, etc..
This would, for example, automatically retrieve mails and convert them into trouble ticket (based on a specific workflow and parameters that can be associated with this type of channel).

WAHOO !

V2.0 is still under development and you're dealing with V3.0 !

I will aswer point by point :

1) For the calendar: Very good idea:
I will not put it face to Calendar because it is not at all the same use. This should be a "scheduling" functionality, displaying items in a day to day planning.
Request registers as Ticket #536

2) Regarding the text editor field for description:
Request is registered yet as ticket #470, planned for V2.1.
But not planned with graphic integration : it's a good idea, but will need many changes (change text fields to blobs, ...). This is registered as new Ticket #537.

3) Regarding the mail client:
Request registred as Ticket #538, to plan for V12

About the text editor, one of the most powerful is CKEditor
You can find it here ckeditor.com/

I have used it in some of my websites, with PHP, and it is quite easy.
The result is beautiful.

Si tel est le cas, alors en effet, comme fredparis je confirme que l'éditeur de texte opensource "CKEditor" est un très bon candidat, car il est même utilisé dans des CMS tel que Joomla et Drupal.

Présentation de "FCKeditor":

FCKeditor intègre des fonctions d'édition que l'on retrouve généralement dans les traitements de texte. Il devient ainsi possible dans un formulaire Web d'insérer des images, des liens ou des tableaux et de mettre du texte en forme (police, taille, gras, italique, couleur...).
Des fonctions standard d'annulation et de copier/coller complètent la liste des fonctionnalités.

This improvment is under study.

It's not as easy as it seems, to be able to use this functionality or not, without impact, and keep the tool easy to use and performant.
We just have to keep on mind that such editors are mainly used as main page editor, and not to be used on several fields of one screen.

In other words :

Either I should replace every text-area-like fields with new editor : I don't know what will be the impact in performance, display of fileds, extention of big fields (I'm pretty sure we'll loose auto-extension capacity), display of existing data, ...

Or I sould just add an extra editor button near each field : no direct impact on existing fields, but then there should be issue to display fields depending on inserted from editor.
