Importation type file

Hi,

I would like to report an "anomaly" with importation type file.


When you select the file to import, you can select and validate any file you want, the importation will accept it anyways... And the result can be catastrophic.

Well most of the time, it juste says "ERROR : column count is incorrect" or "Invalid controls : required fields BLABLA", but sometimes it imports data that are not valid.


Do you know if it is possible to check the extension before processing ?


PS : With a personnal model without any "required" fields, it is a real mess..
PS2 : It works perfectly fine with .csv

Perhaps would it be usefull to stop the importation right away when an error occurs : is a corrupted csv file worth ?



My needs imply that I export a xlsx and I am now trying to include it in Poject'Or RIA.
I will certainly use this tool . If you are interested, I can keep you in touch.
