[SOLVED] Document Version creation without file upload

Hello,

Would it be possible to allow (perhaps with a global parameter) creation of a Document Version without uploading a file ?

This would allow to initialize a new document version reference as soon as work is planned on the new version. We currently have this requirement for our tracking of upcoming document versions :  we need to share and follow-up with our customer the status of all versions, including those that are in progress.

it's not currently possible to create a document version without uploading file .
A solution exists to set up version tracking for your customers.
It is enough to change the rights of the customer profile so that it is a read-only right for the versions.
 

For the version tracking, you're referencing the Product Versions ?
I'll check to update our usage.

Yes it's more useful to be use product Version.
