The resource's diary view should show the entire span of the activity

The resource's Diary view shows only the end-dates for any activity.
But the Gantt chart shows the same activity as spanning over multiple days.

Thus the diary of the resource does not show his actual engagement for the whole duration of that task/activity/ticket.

Compare that with the Android calendar app, where a long-duration activity is marked from start date+time to end date+time (in Month / Week view).
(This alerts the user that he cannot commit himself to any other work.)

Desired:

1. The Diary should show the entire span of the activity.
2. If the activity is not 100%, then let the user adjust the time
