Real work allocation?

More
23 Jui 2015 20:46 #1 by pavilonsxx
Hi everyone,
I have some questions about the "real work allocation" by the people to help:
1. People can help me better understand the real allocation work?
2. In real work allocation unit = days. Users can enter each cell. Thus the default value is 1 right? Or I can enter the value = 2 in a cell. Pictures attached.
Thank you very much!

Real Work allocation is a Time Sheet toi record spent time on each activity.
It is the only place to enter real work for activities.

There is not default value for cells.
They are what you spent. It can be 0.5 for half a day.
You can also parameter the tool to be able to enter work in hours.
Total work for one day should not be over resource capacity : 1 by defaut, but could be 2 if resource represent a team of 2 persons. If total work is over resource capacity, it is highlighted in red, but there is not blocking message.

Thus, for example, I have one project A, user x is a member of the project as a project member is assigned y job completion time is 10 days. So user x should go to "real work allocation" entered 10 times. So right? Is there a faster way? (Eg enter 10 in one cell). :)
Moreover (this is just my comments)
- When the user X on the "real work allocation" does not see the start and end dates of the work that the manager assigned. but only when the user finished and click submit the present (which results are the actual results). This makes it difficult for the user. :(
- There might be one option that the user as project members can only enter the results of their work on "real work allocation". and only considered the job parameters assigned to their manager.
Thanks for your help. :)

Yes it is the best way to do.

Is there a faster way? (Eg enter 10 in one cell).

It is possible, even if tit is not the recommended way of doing.
Reporting will be less accurate, and entereing 10 days in one time is not very precise. Was it really 10, and not 9.5 ?

- When the user X on the "real work allocation" does not see the start and end dates of the work that the manager assigned. but only when the user finished and click submit the present (which results are the actual results). This makes it difficult for the user.

If work is planned, user can see planned work for every day (just check "show planned work")

- There might be one option that the user as project members can only enter the results of their work on "real work allocation". and only considered the job parameters assigned to their manager.

I don't understand the request. Could you detail ?

I have a list of jobs as in picture 1. With the projeq leader Nguyen Van A, Nguyen Van B is projeq member.
"Real work allocation" of Nguyen Van A in picture 2.
"Real work allocation" of Nguyen Van B in picture 3.
Orders are parent activ and Pcs, Monitors, Software as chidren activ.
My question is:
When user Nguyen Van B enter the work and click submit, then the "Real work allocation" of user Nguyen Van A can automatically update? Or user Nguyen Van A must into Real work allocation to enter his work.
I think in one project. When all the chidren work is completed, the father work automatically completed . Is this right?
Thank you very much.

No, A and B are different resources

Or user Nguyen Van A must into Real work allocation to enter his work.

Yes
And real work of A and B are summed up on Activity "Orders".

Yes
