1st status when creating a Ticket is not used in the workflow

Here are my status


Here is the workflow I use for one type of Ticket


When I create a Ticket, the status is "brouillon":


With no other option even if I try.
That stop any possibility to use the workflow.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

First status must be "recorded".

Since I am not using the "recorded" status but "brouillon", do I need to remodel my status and workflows using "your" recorded status. Or can I just use my "brouillon" status .
Still, this a&ppears to me as a limitation: all workflow must start with the very same status.
By the way, are there any other limitation "same status for the last one", that I may know before working on my status again?

Your first status "must" bu status of id 1, whatever how you name it.

I am using the last stable version: V6.2.5
I am noticing that the behavior is not exactly what you described: the "order" of the status is actually the criteria that brings up the "first status".
To be more accurate, the order seems to be based on "order" and then "alphabetical order".
I believe that it would be logical to filter the first status on the first "used status" as declare with the "Controls & automation"->"workflows" configuration.
It appears to me kind "weird" to ask for having the very same status for all workflows, especially since the "configuration" panel does not show it in any ways.
Could it be an evolution?
(or I may misunderstand your philosophy about it)

Difficult to define a different first status depending in workflow, as it would involve to know the type if the item before starting creation (otherwise, proposed first status will not be the real stored one)
