Hi all,
My question is long but it is worth it because it can lead full of interesting functionnalities.
So thank you in advance for your patience.

I configured IMAP receiving emails by ProjeQtor easily.
ProjeQtor is very well designed for that and this is very good.
Now when a user answers an email ticket the text of the email goes automatically as a new note in the ticket.

Receiving emails from users gives powerful possibilities.
I did not find other usages of this powerful possibility in your documentation.

My question is :
- Is it possible to create a ticket by sending an email to the ProjeQtor account?
- Is it possible to add a file or the email itself as an attachement to a ticket, an activity or a project?
- What are other advantages of using these entering emails?

I have been thinking this too. The possibility to have email addresses that belongs to groups, like company emails, go directly into a space where they are visible and may be acted upon, was my instant reaction. For our organisation, where nobody is hired, you can't pin a task to somebody in the same way it's possible in the business world.

In our group we have lots of processes, not projects, going on. These groups have their own email addresses because if people contact us from a homepage in a certain field that a few people are responsible for, we don't want a message to be lost in somebody's inbox. Or that two people answer the same external questioner, causing unnecessary confusion. It's sometimes unclear who should react to a message. With a central point of all of these emails, it would be possible to make them projects, tickets or actions or whatever. I guess that is what I first thougt when I saw the imap option.

Started using ProjeQtOr in oct 2018. Using it in a very small NGO to try to infuse some kind of oversight and order, and for private matters to learn more about it. Have "translated" parts into Swedish (and will make an Esperanto version as well), but not officially.

Your suggestions are good ideas.
What I am looking for is autoamtion of some actions through sending email to ProjeQtor :
- Adding Notes to tickets is very good and exists in ProjeQtor
- Adding Attached files or emails as attached file would be great : Does this exist?
- For what else can we use sending emails to ProjeQtor?

No, not yet.
It is subjet of Ticket #2199 in the roadmap

No, nothing like this was ever requested.
And it may be dangerous... imagine a spammer sending thouthands of pseudo tickefs with 10Mb of attachments each...

What are other advantages of using these entering emails?

As of today, nothing elase than storing reply as note
