How to display the details of linked element in this case activity (phase)

Hi I have managed to create an email template which works when I change the status to Assigned for an Action.

However I would like to show in the in the email the details of the element the action is linked to in this case the activity "project phase" that it needs to be completed by to enable the phase to be finished.

I have tried.

adding "this needs to be completed by the end of phase

Is there a way to do this.

You need to complete this action to enable activity (Phase) to complete

I have tried this too, but it just says email is scheduled but never arrives. If I remove the words ${LINK} from the email content, the emails have stopped start arriving. Any clues how to resolve this.
