Have a look at user manual of plugin.
Take care "default" value is managed only on creation.
It is not a calculated value, unless you set the field as readonly


I'm sorry but not a developper. Even when reading the user manual i do not catch what to do. How to set one value as default, for example the first one?

To define a fixed default value, just enter the value : "1" for instance.
To calculate the defaut value, use "###EVAL##xxxx" where xxx is some php code returning the expected value. But sure, you'll need a few ph knowledge to use this.

I'm sorry to say that if i put 1 or 2 for example, value by default is still the same (the figure is the ID of the item, you confirm?)

Please show your config and be sure to make changes on item.
I insist : defining default value will not automatically update exisitng items. This will be taken into account only for new items (or when updating item)

Hi
in fact, at ticket creation, the field is not visible (workflow rule). When the field becomes visible, the default value is not the one i "forced" in the customization plugin. Please clarify.
