It will be done as soon as someone sponsors the evolution.
Otherwise, sponsored evolution having higher priority, it will be done "when we have some time and no higher priority tasks"

Nowhere, they are just hidden.
Check "show idle items" on list to see them ;)

Is it possible to import user data from Active Directory straight to Projeqtor instead of creating a duplicate copy in projeqtor?

If you connect your Projeqtor instance to AD through LDAP (see global parameters), all users connectiong through AD will automatically generate corresponding user in Projeqtor.
(this is mandatory as ProjeQtOr will internally manage habilitations)

You can also import data in one shot through import feature (from CSV file).
