How to bind exsisting users with ones from LDAP was created by ast
Having Projeqtor installed in production environment I have successfully added the option for users to connect with their OpenLdap ID but now I would like to bind the existing users in Projeqtor (they already have plenty of data inside since its been in use for several years) with the existing users in openLDAP . I have tried searching the forum but didn’t find any information about this.

I would like to know if this is even possible and a tip or two on how to do it, if it is.

Check that username in projeqtor is the userid is the ldap (acvcount they can connect with in ldap)
Then just ckeck "comes from ldap" on user screen.

thank you,
will this make all the data (project,tickets,..) from the exsisting user disapear or it will just be transfered to the ldap user ?

none of these.
It will just change the authentication method for the user.The user itself is not changed at all.
