Hi,

It would be nice to be able to search all the projects with regex and Lucene requests, along with a filter to limit the results on some type of objects e.g. activities, tasks and problems.

Use cases :
  • I don't remember in what kind of object I have recorded some topic (task, activity, problem, risk).
  • I want to improve links completude between object by searching for some keywords
Remarks : Lucene search engine in particularly efficient by enabling to search for several words with a proximity criteria.

You can search for several items in the Global list screen.

Searching with regex is out of scope : less than 1% of our users know what a regex is, and amoungst the one who know what it is, less than 1% can write one.

Lucen if even less known as regex...
We design a tool for project leaders, that can be used by almost anyone, not for devs with features that only 1 users over a million will use.
