It may happen to start a project with resources who have no login account in ProjeQtOr, and later to give them access. We have then two resources for the same individual with same name but different ID. It would be nice when an account is added that Projector check for existing names and propose to add an account to an existing user instead of creating a new one. For existing projects, it would be nice to be able to fusion resources having the same name.

It may happen to start a project with resources who have no login account in ProjeQtOr, and later to give them access. 

You should then just select the resource and check "is a user"
 

It would be nice when an account is added that Projector check for existing names and propose to add an account to an existing user instead of creating a new one

This can be done with our Screen customization plugin.
It allows you to define that a field is "unique" (same value only once in the DB)
 

For existing projects, it would be nice to be able to fusion resources having the same name.

Of course not : it may happen to have several resources with same name...

Of course not : it may happen to have several resources with same name... 

Not automatic but on demand.
