Hello,

Sorry for this beginner question, but I'm new with this tool and I need some help to understand what I'm missing... On a project I created with several activities and one ressource for each activity, I want to see the initials of the ressources on the Gantt planning. For that, in my account "User's parameters" window, I have set the "Show ressource in Gantt" to "Initials". However it does not works. I have checked with the "admin" account. It has the same user's parameter regarding "Show ressource in Gantt" (ie "Initials") and for this account, it works fine. I suppose I'm missing another parameter or condition which leads to my issue... Can someone help me ?

HI

Fill the field " name of the user" on the resource screen. Result comes from it.

Hi,
I have checked in the resssource screen. For each ressource, fields "real name", "user name" and "initials" are correctly filled...I have checked this as admin (when it works) and as my account (when it doesn't work)... I must miss something...

On global parameter / Planning / 2nd line "show resource on Gantt" fill the field with your choice.

On the Gantt view, open options (button with 3 points) and check "Show resources"
(parameters will only let you select what you will see : name or initials)
