Hi ProjeQtOr team,
My questions are about screen allocatio.
My configuration/context :
- projeQtOr release : 4.5.4
- Project PR linked with 2 Activity AC1 and AC2
- team project : 1 project manager (project configuration) called PM
1 activity responsable for 2 activities : AR. AR is différent of PM
3 resources/users : RS1, RS2, RS3

My questions :
- the users RS1 is logued and goes in work allocation screen.
Why RSI can see all team in resource drop list selection ?
For me, RS1 must see only himself, AR can see all team, PM see AR.

- for me the validation and submit buttons have an issue.
The RS1 can validate or submit anytime and can cancel.
I don't understand the workflow asociated.(I have read the manual)
Can you explain the behavior of the workflow ?

Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

Hi,

Corresponding to your description, RS1 has a "Project Leader" profile, or profile with similar rights.
With correct profiles (AS as 'project leader', 'RSi as 'Project Member' :
- AR sees all team members
- RSi sees only himself
- RSi can only submit work for the week
- AR can validate work for the week (when submitted by resource)
- PM has no specific right : defining a resource as Project Manager does not give rights on project, all will depend on affectation and profile.

Hope this makes things more clear.

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback.

I have created 3 new profils : DP, PM , DEV
I have a bad config in habilitation/specific_acces screen and validation_real_work section :
For DEV profil, I have filled "own elements" . I change with new value "no elements" and the behavior is godd now :
DEV member see only himself and can submit only, the validation of work is not possible .
It's OK now. Thanks

I have an other question :
In the project description there is a "manager" field.
In the activity (link with previous project) in treatment section there is "responsable" field
What is the difference between about the privilege of real work validation from dev team ?
Does the "manager" than validates the real work ? the "responsable" ? or both ?

Thanks a lot.
Regards

None have privilege about real work allocation :S
Priviliege about real work allocation is provided only through specific acces right, to corresponding profile.
Note that Project Manager is mostly descriptive, and used only when sending emails (to project manager)
Responsible has more functional mean as you can define right acces to "items he is responsible of"...

Does the "manager" than validates the real work ? the "responsable" ? or both ?

None :silly: (see above)
