Hi,
In my other project management software I have defined quite a few contacts and want now to move them to Projeqtor. Recreating them one by one from scratch is not my favourite option. I can download contacts in either VCard format (one by one) or download the CSV. The questions is: does Projeqtor support VCard and/or CSV contacts import. And if not are theses features planned to be implemented? I looked through the forum but couldn't find the answer to these questions.

Hi,

Yes, you can import Contacts into ProjeQtOr, from CVS or XLSX (Excel) files.
Go to "Administration" contextual menu (top left selector), menu "Import Data".
You'll there have possibility to display expected format (use help button beside Type of element to import).
Or you can also export into CSV the contacts in ProjeQtOr : this exported file is directly re-importable into ProjeQtOr.

What I did is the following:
  1. Created a contact in Projeqtor.
  2. Downloaded csv with the contact from Projeqtor.
  3. Downloaded csv with contacts from other project management sofware.
  4. Did a copy-paste of the relevant data from columns of the csv in step 3 to the relevant columns of csv in step 2.
  5. Imported the new csv to Projeqtor.
The import went without errors and I now have all my contact in Projeqtor.
