Can I reset the "Access Rights" to default settings? V5.2.5 and/or V5.3.1 was created by sagar.toshniwal
I am trying out both the versions V5.2.5 (already done some work on this) and V5.3.1 (recently started exploring).

I observed one thing while experimenting on V5.2.5 that I have made changes to the default settings - changed parameters in access modes, changed profiles, changed access rights to forms and to data. For profiles and modes, I had "closed" existing ones and created duplicates and then customized those duplicates. So I can always refer to what were default settings. However, I am not sure if I can do the same for Access Rights - can I do that?

I think it is good idea to provide this "Set to default" option in the access rights - to forms and to data. Without impacting data...

No access rights are not "single object" so don't have same possibilities as plain objects.
And what you call "default setting" is just a proposed cnfiguration to be able to start working without too much parametering.
This is not a 'dafault' setting, just a proposal.
