[SOLVED] Real work counted on old project after moving activities from project A to B

Hello,
One of our users encountered a very strange issue after moving activities between projects (we are using v10.2.3).

One example (see attached DB query) :
- activity #17176 was in project #2239
- real work was entered on this activity
- activity is moved to a different project #2331
- in general, real work is moved to the new project #2331
- => but some real work remained on the old project #2239

Note that this "move" operation was done on many activities.

We checked in database to figure this out, and it looks indeed like something went wrong in the middle of the "move activity" process.
I couldn't find any error in the application logs that would explain an inconsistency or other server error.

Is there anything you could find to explain and hopefully prevent any future occurrence of a such a use case ?

Regards

Prevent the issue : difficult without complete reproduction case

You can apply consistency check to fix these kind of issues

Ok wasn't sure the consistency also impacted consolidation of real work - thanks.

For the scenario, yes I imagine it's all but impossible to figure out.  I'll see by any chance the people who did this have some kind of scenario, will let you know if by chance reproduction is successful.
As long as we can land back on our feet it should be fine.
