I have a few issues with the software - on the version 4.0.6
Goes without saying these are all minor - and the software is great as I said before.
Any consideration on improving these would be much appreciated
1)
the system doesn't respect the "hide menu option"
I use a laptop and like the icons at the top
I have selected to hide the menu but when I log in the menu is shown - if I visit the parameters - it then remembers and hides the menu on loading the parameter screen
2)
suggest that system provides option for overriding the "confirm page close"
I find this extremely annoying - I cannot think of another site I have to confirm like this
especially with direct access - I open many windows and have to confirm each closure
3)
ui improvement on smaller laptop the buttons look similar at the top - could there be
a) slightly larger
b) the <- -> to be highlighted
c) maybe highlighted groups of icons
1) It's not an issue : it is designed this way.
The "Menu switching" is operational depending on parameter.
But after connection, the menu is open to be able to select fist menu item.
After clicking on first menu item, menu is automatically hidden.
Maybe an improvment could be to hide it on statup.
But this is only a good point "only" if you use exclusively to shortcut icons.

2) This is a "standard" behaviour a clean"ajax" web application.
I don't speak about web sites : ProjeQtOr is not a web site, it is a web application.
This step is important :
=> to avoid back button to erase all ongoing work
=> to request a clean "disconnection", like using "disconnect" button.
Maybe an improvement could be to avoid this message when using direct access page.
Not sure it is really a good option, as you could loose much work with an arroneous back button...
To be studied.

That is exactly my point
I rarely use the menu as I select "hide menu (click to see)"
To me this would hide it on startup
the smaller the screen the more space required and duplicating the main menu - isn't great use of space
>>2) This is a "standard" behaviour a clean"ajax" web application.
I disagree - I use and develop web applications and I do not experince this often
the key point is if there is data unsaved - I agree then for a warning
but that is normally not the case - if I close a tab I'm 99.99% right and I'm not losing anything
>>Not sure it is really a good option, as you could loose much work with an arroneous back button...
as I say - that case I understand - but none other
1) Menu is hidden on connection if parametered this way
2) Like on many applications, it is now a user parameter to confirm apllication closure or not.
2) Top icons size is now a user parameter, to choose between the 3 available sizes.
And menu icons size is now also a user parameter.
Both are also a global parameter to be defined as default by admin.
