When manually sending an email using an email template, for example from a ticket, it is possible to check the "record a note" box (see below).
A note is then created, however it contains only this:
Email sent to xxx :.
Isn't the content of the email actually sent (generated from the template) expected to be recorded in the note ?
Or does the recording intentionally only concern the message that can be entered in the sending form ?
If the current behavior is that expected, I propose an evolution to allow the content of the email sent using the template to be recorded in a note.
It all depends on the email model, we have some that produce particularly short emails.
Possibly a link to the email (which is stored and visible in the email screen) would be more accurate.
Sounds like a good lead to me.
The idea being to be able to view the content of the email sent directly from the screen of the current element (ex: ticket), the evolution could be to systematically add a link to the email sent in the activity stream (which currently only contains the subject of the email from a template).
This link would allow you to display the complete email when hovering the mouse for example (or in a pop-up via a click?).
What do you think ?
