monthly project review

1. Objective
Implement a consolidation module/screen to support the preparation and follow‑up of the monthly project review, enabling the Management team to take decisions efficiently (resource allocation, priorities, go/no‑go, etc.).

2. Context
Management and Project Managers meet once a month to review a set of projects selected by the PMO.
These projects are identified using a specific tag created for each review.
During the meeting, Project Managers report on progress, blocking issues, and questions requiring decisions.After the review, decisions and answers must be recorded, archived, and accessible within ProjeQtOr.Currently, although the project dashboard exists in ProjeQtOr, there is no functionality to:

• automatically consolidate the projects included in a review,
• display review-specific information,
• record and archive decisions taken during the meeting.

3. Functional Requirements
  3.1 Project selection for the review

• Projects included in the review are selected using a dedicated monthly tag.
• Selection may also be filtered by priority if needed.

  3.2 Consolidation view / summary screen
A new screen should display:

• the list of projects linked to the review tag,
• for each project:
  • progress indicators (using existing ProjeQtOr data: workload, remaining work, planning, etc.),
  • information entered by the Project Manager specifically for the review:
    • monthly progress (text),
    • blocking issues or risks,
    • questions or escalation items for Management,
  • direct access to the existing project dashboard.

  3.3 Detailed review form per project
Create a dedicated form linked to the ongoing review, allowing the Project Manager to:

• enter review-related progress information,
• list blocking issues,
• submit questions requiring decisions.

After the review, the PMO or Management must be able to enter:

• decisions,
• responses,
• arbitrations,
• actions to be taken.

  3.4 ArchivingFor each monthly review:

• all data must be stored and retained,
• information must be accessible later by Project Managers, PMO, and Sponsors,
• each set of data must be linked to the review tag and the project.

  3.5 Visibility / permissionsThe data must follow standard ProjeQtOr access rules:

• Project Managers: access to their own projects,
• Sponsors / Management: cross‑project visibility,
• PMO: full access.

4. Constraints / notes

• Reuse existing ProjeQtOr objects as much as possible (tags, project screen, dashboards…).
• Allow easy creation or duplication of the monthly review tag.
• Each review must be stored without overwriting previous ones.
• The interface should remain simple for Project Managers.
