More functionality in planning

I would like to suggest a functionality whereby, if we need to move a bunch of tasks from one location to the other with out having to do them one by one, can we have the functionality to merge needed tasks as one block so as moving them will be easier ?

Let me explain myself. If we have a lot of activites, tasks and milestones and we want to shift only few (like 1.2 and 1.3 for example) to another place within the project, now we have to do that for each one separately. My suggestion is a functionality whereby we can merge 1.2 and 1.3 in one block and move them as one block (one operation yes) to the new location and then un-merge them.
