So if a subtask is going to terminated, the parent will not go to terminated ? only work for in "inprogress" and "done" ?
I've got trouble for closing project because a lot of upper task are not same status as subtask.
Thanks for clarification.
I see on one post that we can force closing of projet even if task are not finished and closed but i am unable to find how to do that (i've got projectexpense linked termined also.. seems not considered as closed ! ).

Thanks a lot for closing / Solved !!! :)

But for a task "Phase" with 1 subtask, how could it be possible that if subtask go to terminated the task "phase" is going to terminated ?

This can be configured in global parameters : automatically change status of parent
This will put parent to first status "in progress" when first child moves to "in progress"
This will put parent to first status "done" when last child moves to "done"
