We are having problems understanding critical resource list, that we show in attached picture (resource names have been deleted).
The table is clear if we exclude "overbook mode" and "including overused" columns.
Doubts:
"overbook mode" and "including overused" seems to be misleading or inverted: from manuals it looks like overbooked is the sum of normal and overbooked, and including overused seems to be the difference, but we ask why not to use more precise words, and why use different words (overbooked and overused).
Any way you want to call them, the three planned columns dont' match.
Margin column seems to be the difference from normal mode and available time, while we feel it should be the difference among (normal + overused) and available (unless making a double raport, one related to normal mode and one related to total work).
Hello,
The table shows the number of days available for resources during this period.
The number of days planned for this resource in the schedule for this resource.
The overbooked mode indicates the number that would be required to complete the task.
The number of overuse indicates that the end date is too short and that this number of overuse would be required to finish on time.
It's a question we already had some years ago and I don't want to waste time on that again.
I'm introducing Projeqtor in other organizations and proposing them to pay your yearly subscription, so I don't feel like abusing this software.
On the other side, I feel that some efforts on using better terms or explaining concepts differing from normal usage would improve Projeqtor usability.
Thanks for all.
