Can you please explain how Ticket and Planning Activity (on Ticket) suppose to work?
I would expect that when activity status changed, the status of ticket changed as well but it not working that way.
If we set activity originated from ticket it not doing that as well.

Hi,
It is mostly used for maintenance task : you have a Planning activity on wich you know you'll have to spend X days on a given period : you plan this activity, assigning resources (and then you'll be sure they will have some time left to work on this task).
When entering real work on a ticket, work will be added to the "Planning activity" work, and left work on planning activity will be decreased.
There is not link between item status.
Globally, there is no automatic mecanism that changes status of an item from another one.
"When entering real work on a ticket, work will be added to the "Planning activity" work, and left work on planning activity will be decreased." - I understand it is not working other way around? So, it is not updated on ticket when you will put hours into Real Work Allocation?
Looking not extremely useful because people actually need to update both of them!
I think at least it should link status.
If you consider the whole set: Ticket->Requirements->Task then you need to update status in 3 places for the same work!

No, it is not possible : several tickets can be linked to same planning activity.

They just have to update ticket (as they work on Ticket). It will automatically update planning activity work.

No, it is not a bijective link.

Yes, but it's not the same point of view, and it's not 1 to 1 bijective link : A ticket can point to several Requirement and requirement can point to several tickets...
