Can not solve MYSQL login problem

Dear sirs. I have read related topic but I did not understand what to do =( could you please explain once more please

SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
dsn = mysql:host=127.0.0.1;port=3306

I hjave the exact same issue and message. I installed the EasyPHP current devserver 16.1 stack (you recommended it) and Projeqtor. When I start Projeqtor this is the only error from the config page. I tried using " " as the pass word instead of mysql and there is no change. I'm not a technical db guy so unless you can tell me where to find the password, or what the MySql 5.7 default root password is, your product is unusable. I really need your guidance.

I resolved it. There are multiple suggestions across the board for things to fix this issue. I found I needed to do TWO of them to get it to work. The first was to wipe the mysql password as you suggested. The second was to replace the db URL 127.0.0.1 with localhost. Doing either of these alone did nothing but doing both of them fixed the issue.
