Configuration management Question

In Projeqtor, is there any option to track and control versions of Hardware, COTS items, and customized Software. Ideally i am looking at something, when an license of any software/Hardware is getting expired, the tool should pick up that and create a ticket by iteself and trigger events/alerts to the responsible team. Also it should track the versions of the hardware being used.

I did tried to create a product with name as Hardware and added Product version named as Hardware V1.2 linking to the Product providing details like Initial Entry into Service date and Planned End dates. Post this i tried to create an event under Mails on event and under this Other Event dropdown list, i dont see anything like End Date, such that a mail will be triggered when approached the end date. How to handle this scenario. Ideally we are looking at handling versions of the hardware and changes in the software documents controlled through configuration numbering and serialization.

Thank you for your quick response. However, tried creating few versions providing start and end dates. But when verified the same under Version Planning in Configuration Management, these Start date and End dates are displaying Blank without displaying the user selected dates. Appreciate if you can guide on the same. Thanks
