V11.4.2

I have a user who tries to add a new leave period and gets this error message

Leave periods cannot overlap

 

Is it an issue or there is an explanation ?

What i see is that the user, is an employee manager and one of is managed employee has a existing leave period with the same date. If this is really the reason, this should be allowed.

This message appears because you are trying to take one or more days of leave on days that you have already taken.

For example:
Today is December 5th. You take December 10th as leave
On the 8th you decide to finally take leave from the 9th to the 12th and decide to create a new leave in the HR module.
In this case, the application informs you that for this period you already have leave recorded, the 10th in this case.

Hi understand, in this case there is an issue

Here is the list of Leave Period for user Francois Lapointe Moreau 

 

Francois is trying to add another Leave Period with the date 2025-01-06 to 2025-01-10 and the message "Leave Period cannot overlap" is shown

But as you can see, there is no existing leave period for these dates.

Is there any "rejected" leave period ?

yes, there is one, but not for this users and the rejected leave period date is 2022-10-31 to 2022-11-04
