Here are some thoughts :
- a team management : a calendar for each resource, with absences, assignments charges. To allow the choice of assignments and absence management. Of course, the calculation of planning activities must be done with the project schedule and project's resource calendars.
Because project management is also team management.
- a better management of meetings : with a table (like adding some functions and costs to a resource) to choice and add attendees (choice into the list of the persons identified in the project as contact, customer, resources ...). If a participant is unknown, it may be automatically added (with his "profile": contact, customer, resource).
- a document management, to manage and store all documents of a project (with versioning, link with activities or meetings concerned with documents, deliverables ...)
- a report as a diary planner : view by day, week, month, year. For a person, a team, a project. Viewing meetings, deliverables, milestones, activities. Not a Gantt chart, but like a diary planner.
- a report as a phonebook, with all persons and companies related to a project (contacts, customers, users, resources ...)
