Hello,

Calendars are associated with resources, not tasks.

ok so it is impossible to attribute to a resource activities only the week and only the weekend or is there a solution?

A resource can effectively only have one calendar.

There are still a few workarounds.
You start by unchecking non-working days in the global parameters so as to have all the days of the week that can be planned.

you go through the absence table to manually indicate the unavailability according to your choices.
or
you create two resources to represent one, each with a different calendar. (Be careful however with the planning modes so that this resource is not scheduled 7/7)
or
you use the planning modes
or
you can play with the periods of assignments to projects

I am thinking of these but there may be others. If some users have other solutions, do not hesitate!

It would be handy if a calendar could be assigned by period similar to variations in resource capacity (or extend it with the calendar).
Another solution (which would avoid manipulating resources) could be to add a calendar choice possibility to the progress section planning modes.

E.g., when it would be handy to have such posibilities:
1) If someone is for commissioning in a country with different calendar system and different holidays it is a nightmare to use manual planning (or there is a shortcut to mark multiple days at once and not single days) .

2) Currently all this Corona quarantines. Sepending on traveling dates they start/end on weekend days you want to set to set 14 days but you need to know exactly the capacity and everything.

3) if someone has to work on different shift for a certain time. e.g. August to November only on 3 days, in june on weekends etc.

It is quite complex to do and covers very specific need, so we won't spend time on this unless the evolution is sponsored.

Maybe solutions could be
  1. Have a specific calendar for resources in that case
  2. Have calendar without off days, andd manage all off days through "absence"
