Custom fields in mail templates was created by almarena-it
Hi there,

I have added custom fields for Contacts using the screen customization plugin. One of then is the contact firstname : field name = contactFirstname.
Is there a way to use this custom field in the mail templates especially for tickets ? If so, could you tell how to proceed ?

Hi,
It is the magic of our termplates.
You'll be able to use custom fields as any standard field.
For instance, I added lastName on Contact screen.
And I'm have to use contact.lastName in TemplateReport, as show by help for available fields

Thank you for your answer, but it is not in template reports that I want to use those customs fields but in mail templates, for ticket events.

Is there a way to do this ? Thanks.

Unfortunately email template is not as complete.
For a Contact template, you may get custom fields on contact.
But for a Ticket templace, you may only have ID and NAME of contact, no other field on Contact (even standard one) is available.
