Assistance Needed with Resource Allocation Update

Hi,

I recently used the "Replace the allocated resource" feature for one of my team members who moved to another team. After assigning the project allocation from Resource ID 5 to Resource ID 109, I noticed a duplicate entry under Resource ID 109 for Project ID 14.

The issue I'm facing is that activities are still showing under Resource ID 5, despite the replacement with Resource ID 109. I've tried to track the source of this allocation in the "affectation" table but haven't found any leads.

Could you please assist me in identifying the source of this allocation so that I can ensure accurate reporting and mention the new assignee when the original assignee changes teams and we use the "Replace the allocated resource" feature?

Please refer to the attachments for more details.

Note: I've also checked the history, historyarchive, work, assignment, and resource tables without success.

Activities that have real work are kept on origin resource, and copied to target resource with left work

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I understand how the system works, but my concern is about tracking the allocation source. I've tried checking the "affectation" table but couldn't find any leads.

Could you please help me identify the source of this allocation for accurate reporting and updating assignee information?

Thanks.
