Doubt in "Project Expense" Reports

Hi,
I have a doubt about the expected behavior in reports related to project expenses:
- Project expense per month
- Total expense per month
- Total Expense and Cost Per Month

I've entered some project expenses, filling out the fields planned cost & date and real cost & date.

When I run the reports mentioned above, costs are shown only in "real cost" line. Planned values are not shown.
At first, I thought it was because planned costs and real cost were the same. So, I changed values to have a difference between planned costs and real costs, and still showing no costs in the "planned cost" line, in the reports. I've tried also to change the date/month of real date, so it would be different from planned date, and still, no planned values were shown in the reports.

Is this a expected behaviour?

Also, I've noticed that when the values are in millions, the graph cuts the values on the left of the graph.

Attached follows a print screen of the values shown in the report and the graph.

Thanks in advance. Kind regards.

Hi,

This is designed behavior...
Target of these reports is to mesure total of expense, not to compare real from expected.
So for a given expense, if real is set, it is taken into account, if not then expected is taken into account.

Attached follows a print screen of the values shown in the report and the graph.

Sorry, no file attached

Sorry for forgetting the attachment :S . But, you got it perfectly :cheer:

Maybe as evolution for cost reports would be some reports for comparing planned vs real.

Thanks for your answer and clarifying my doubt.
