[SOLVED] left work in activity not updates auto.

Cannot reproduce.

Please describe use case in detail, step by step.

Hi,

Behavior is normal : You had 0 assigned, 0 left, and you entered 12 for real. OK
After that, you enter 24 assigned, so it means you add 24 to existing, so left is 24. You'll have to change it manually if it's not whan you expect.
 

Because left in not alwayd Assigned - Real.
Imagine you have Assigned = 10, entre Real = 7, left is automatically calculated to 3, but resource can change Left to 5, so reassessed is now 12 (assigned is underestimated)
This happens all the time.

Then if you add extra work and set Assigned=15, then left will be set to 10 (you add 5 to assigned, so Left is increased of 5). We don't mind about existing real.
This works the same way is assigned is zero... if you Add some assigned work, left will be added the same added value, whatever existing real work.
Once again, if it's not what you expect (for instance you want to fix some incorrectly assigned work) you can very easily change the left work.
