Error - Can't Generate a MPP export File

I don't know if I use the Cron function, I use the data import screen.

Hi Babynus,

I don't know why, but i test this :

I launched in the planning view a pdf export. Then I copied the URL of the pdf export, and in a new tab of IE 8, I copied it. then I modified the outMode to mpp and I make OK. And then, I had the xml file and I could open it with MS Projet.

So the good question is : why in the code, the mpp export function could not be launched ?
I check the 2 functions pdf export and mpp export code and I didn't find any differences in planningList.php

Problem 1 :
I made a new test at home :

=> I use project'or ria with Firefox : and the MPP button work fine with xml file creation.
=> Then I try with IE8 and it doesn't work.

As on my other computer, when I only have IE8.

So maybe the problem could come from the browser ?

Problem 2 : Solved with your solution.

New Problem 3 : with IE8, with around from now and many more after,
- 100 activities,
- 15 ressources and user,
- 70 test cases.
- 70 Sessions tests.
some actions are very slow :
- open/save for each item (around 5/10s each time) -> Is it normal ?,
- in planning view, when I use the vertical scrollbar to view each item in the Gantt, only the gantt view move, the table view at left doesn't move.
- in planning view, when I use the horizontal scrollbar, the date column name in the gantt doesn't move at all.

Is it due to IE8 ? If yes, why ? And could it be improved ?
Is it better in other browsers ? Maybe in firefox ?

Without the slow parts, the software could be very impressive.

I am studied to use them in my work, if the slow actions and the some bugs detected diseappeared, then it coulb be OK.
I hope than with many users on a server, the slow time will not increase ?

New Question 4 :
Just for information,I am not usingit for software developpement,so I adapt it modifying the parameters in the type item for example.
Does my parameters be erased with upload of new versions of project'or ria or is it OK ? (I didn't touch the php code).
