Hello,
When I export to .csv from the timesheet field (all resources / all weeks) the output is a file with a work column and a cost column, as below
Example: (not including the last column that I have added and calculated)
id resource project type of item element id name assignment work d date cost unit cost
20378 EB O_01_x Activity 170 3_Task 1 498 0,03 28/02/202 369,3333333
20377 EB R_15_z Activity 363 Task3 1938 0,47 02/03/2023 339,4680851
20376 EB R_08_y Activity 1750 2_Task4 1948 0,07 02/03/2023 316,5714286
When I want to check the unit cost by dividing the cost by work, I should always have the same amount for each person, their hourly/daily rate on the same day shouldn't change; and yet, it does, as you can see.
In our system:
- the daily work hours cover a range of 8 hours with a pause in the middle
- the Unit for timesheet is set to hours
- the unit for workload is set to hours
- the number of hours per day is set to 7.6
I found in the Manuel a warning here:
manual.projeqtor.org/html_en/GlobalParam...y-work-hours-section (scroll to the Units for Work warning) that something could affect the rounding, but I sincerely don't understand what "both" is referring to and if this is what is impacting my exported values.
and yet, the conversion is sometimes 7.6, sometimes 7.5, sometimes something else, and I can't find an easy rounding error to rebuild the initial values.
Could anyone help me to understand why the conversion from hours to days is inconsistent? And how do we fix it so that on the export we have a consistent, reliable and steady conversion?
Alternatively, is there any other way of exporting the whole database directly in hours instead of days?
Many thanks for any pointers.
