1) In resource view, a pop-up can affect costs to a resource.
Creating is ok.
Modifying is not possible.
An error on cost's format is detected, because of decimal separator (comma in France) :
- the value into the pop-up has a point. The format is waiting a comma.
- when typing a comma, I can save. But a point is displayed (stored ?) again in the pop-up.
2) In activities view, the same conflict appears in assignment pop-up :
- all decimal values (cost, assigned work, real work, left work) are displayed as errors.
If I want to readjust this pop-up, a message is displayed :
'Some field contains invalid data. Please correct first'
But it is impossible to correct datas.
It is a problem, because deleting the first assignment is not allowed into pop-ups.
And choice of decimal separator is not set up in parameters.php file, but it seems depend of user's computer.
There are perhaps more pop-ups with this error, but I have seen these 2 one.
Since yesterday, some changes.
The problem with pop-up is back again, with version 1.8.0 :
- when I write a work's duration (in activity view) with decimal values, I must write a comma as decimal separator (due to my local system configuration) => no problem with this value, which is stored and displayed always with a comma.
- when I write the assignment of this work to a resource, I type a comma but the value is stored with a decimal point => editing this data displays the same message "'Some field contains invalid data. Please correct first" => the values with a decimal point are invalid.
- this is the same error with 'Function & cost' into Resource details : I write the cost of a resource's function with a comma, but it's stored with a point. Then, this datas (displayed as in a invalid format) are not possible to be modified.
Hi,
I succeded in reproducing your issue... with difficulties.
In fact, you msut be using defaut local using comma as numeric separator.
But on your workstation windows parameters have redefined point as decimal separator.
This leads to an issue as Dojo always expect the defaut separator (comma).
I will try to find a way to fix this.
To be able to enter data, just reverse your regional parameters to default ones.
