Hello,
I am quite interested by the new 'Organizations' feature, but not sure I understand everything yet :)

Is it possible to use Organizations as a kind of high-level global project, or is it mainly for consolidation that it can be used ?

In short, we tend to use a lot of projects / sub-projects when we have large teams on long-running projects, and of course this adds a lot of calculations because each sub-project creates additional checks for access rights, affectations, etc. So I'm wondering if the Organization can be used to manage affectations on a high level, to remove the multiple checks on sub-projects ?

In any case, it's definitely interesting ! :)

It is for consolidation.
Organization is not displayed on Gantt.

No.
But activity can ;)

Idea of Oraganization is to provide transversal level of consolidation
For instance, you can have suche sctucture
P1
P1.1 => Org A
P1.2 => Org B
P2
P2.1 => Org A
P2.2 => Org B

Then :
P1 consolidates data of P1.1 and P1.2
P2 consolidates data of P2.1 and P2.2
Org A consolidates data of P1.1 and P2.1
Org B consolidates data of P1.2 and P2.2
