without more information, I will try to extrapolate a little... but I suppose that if you create a project in 2025 that covers 2023, it is because the project has not started on Projeqtor. So it is a question of entering activities that have already been carried out.
The default
planning mode
of the application is "asap" so planning from now on and as soon as possible.
The software does not know that these activities have already passed, so it will plan them from the current date.
so you have to tell it that these elements are in the past.
there are several solutions, you can use other planning modes that define and block dates, such as the "must start..." planning mode, the regular one, and the manual planning for example...
Be careful, however, when calculating the schedule.
Many modifications such as load allocation, assignment, etc. can recalculate the schedule and will do so, by default, on today's date.
you can therefore freeze them in the planning in the progress section to be sure that they do not move even after recalculation or enter real work to fix them on these dates.
