Workflow control error

Hi,

I've been struggling for a while with some trouble with the workflow control checks... hope someone could help me figure this out !

Two issues actually:

1) The workflow for an activity, as I have it defined using the "workflows" menu, allows me (as admin) to go from "closed" to "reopened". However if I try to do this, I get the error message "Invalid controls. The workflow does not allow you to move this item to this status".

Following the i18n string, I've gotten as far as the control check in saveSqlElement, but after that I must admit I'm slightly lost!

2) Similar issue, on projects: I am working on a project which was declared as type "Administrative". It is currently in status "in progress". However now I would like to use the planning function and therefore (I think) I need to change the project status to for example "Internal".
If I try changing the status to "internal" I again get the error message "Invalid controls. The workflow does not allow you to move this item to this status".

I've noticed that if a project is in status "copied" (and I assume also "recorded"), I can change its type to "internal" without error.

So basically, I'm wondering which "hidden" workflow controls are implemented, and how (or if) it would be possible to tweak them ?

1) Could not reproduce this issue.

Oh... I guess that means someone on my side created a bug in our code

2) Issue is confirmed : when changing type, workflow control may unexpectedly return an error.
Ticket #1158 recorded.

Notice that :
1) there is no need to change type to plan your project. you can start planning it right now and change type when fix is deployed
2) you can change type if you change status in the save time (may be a workaournd)

To clarify however, I was under the impression that for a project type "administrative", the gantt planning view is disabled. Is that so ?
