How to have the same "project view" for all users was created by dnaton
Hello,
I'm a new user of ProjeQtor (a very good software) and search how to have the same "Project view" for all users in the main screen.

If you look the first image attached, you see the view for the admin user. In the second image, it's the view of an other user and it is not the same.

What I would like is to force the same view for all the users (if they want, they can change this view when they use ProjeQtor, but at the beginning, it would like great if all the users have a "default view".

Is it possible ?

Do you mean default view for project list ? (or any list such as Activity list)

In fact it is the case : every user has default view, and may change it (add / move column, change size, move column).
This is done throught the column selector button.


You may retrieve dafault view through this button using the "reset" option.

Hello,

Thank for your answer.

I saw the the column selector button but it is not exactly what i'm looking for.

I explain more "precisely"

I have modified for me the "Project view" to have more informations. What I would like is to "push" this view for all users (I don't want they use the selector button to do that : they are "basic users" and I have 20 users : all the 20 users can't do this modification.

There is no easy way but there are some "tricks" that may help.

Copy /projeqtor/model/Project.php to /projector/model/custom/Project.php
Then retrieve definition of var $layout (private static $_layout='<th ......';) from /projeqtor/model/ProjectMain.php to /projector/model/custom/Project.php.
Change the definition of this sting to fit your needs (it is a table header for the list).
If some users already cutomised their view, they may refresh to get your new or you may force refresh by clearing table columnselector (maybe filtering on objectClass if you want to reset only project view).

This way, defaut view is your own and will be preserved (because in custom folder) over projeqtor upgrades.
