It will probably seems a little crazy but i want to implement poker planning inside Projeqtor.
Project Leader lists all activities specifics for a project. He do all the job like assigning work to ressources (days or hours).
But i want ressources to participate to the estimation of the "assigned work" time. So i'm lookin for an attribut on Projeqtor that is linked to an activity , and is specific for each ressource.
Every ressource can give is own estimation of the activity, and in backend (through the DB), i do the average "assigned work" and inject it again in the activity.
It only misses this specific attribut. I'm investigating with "notes" but it will be a little be touchy.
I found the plugin "Screen customisation". Is it a possibility ?
It seems to be possible to create a new attribute on the element "Activities" but i'm note sure the value of the attibute will be specific for every ressource.
Keep diging
There is no such field, linked ot activity and resource.
This would require some modification of core.
NB :
In my remembering is correct, your description of Planning Poket is not conform to scrum.
On a planning poker, Project Leader should not take the average of estimates.
If there are different estimate, the one who told the less and the one who told the more must argue to explain their estimate.
Then everyone replays the estimate game, and so on until everyone agrees.
Also, planing poker soes not play with "days" but with "points", but this is just a way to hide days, as you can easily convert points into days (team esitmates how many points can be treated in a sprint...).
Your remembering is perfect. Here is my smart adaptation
There is a lot of way of implementing Poker planning. But main drawback is the duration of this meeting around poker planning (backlog grooming). It's sooooo long, it's a nightmare !!! ... trully ...
Usually, Pareto is the king : 20% of cards needs explanation. And there is a consensus for the 80% rest.
This is why i want to automatise the process. The project Leader make a focus on activities that need mediation. In agility, people (MOA) forget easily that it is an es-ti-ma-tion, not a kind of power to see what will append in the futur ! What ever !
